PB and....hold the jelly!!!!!! whoop whoop!

I took almost 5 minutes off my half mary this past Sunday at the policeman's half.  I felt bloody great the whole time, ok maybe not the WHOLE time.
       - Like maybe not when i didn't reset my garmin so i got to practise my math anytime I wanted to gauge where i was at----this actually was ok as i decided to run the race as hard as was comfortably uncomfortable for me and see what i could do, so no biggie.
-Like maybe not when I took a gel at 10km and accidentally grabbed gatorade, so i chose to wash the gel down with my nonexistant spit and avoid the hurling that generally ensues after ingesting gatorade that is made the way my kids would mix ice tea for themselves----made so super sweet you expect to see undissolved crystals at the bottom of the cup!!!
-Like maybe not when the wellintentioned sea of 1200 people walking for MS took up the whole skinny trail on the hill that i was trying to conquer, breaking bush wasn't in my race plan, but i did it yelling "salmon coming through!!!" they didn't get it, bloody hell, that sucked, it was in the last couple of km.
-Like maybe not when i took a wrong turn half a km away from the finish line and added a couple hundred metres to the already 500m too long course.
Actually, during all of this silliness i still felt pretty damn positive and strong and kept rocking. I love this level of fitness that i am reaching and even more so........I love the fact that i am forty years old and my fitness hasn't peaked. Actually I haven't peaked in any area of my life. How fucking cool is that? It hits me at the most random times and always brings a smile to my face. I am sure one fellow in Safeway thought i was wearing vibrating panties today cause some serious happy energy was coming out of me, and I wasn't trying too hard to contain it.
I had a great chat with coach Carrie today and I am ready to keep rocking my way to ironman canada.

I apologize for my lack of bike porn, I am a loser with computers and i am almost as bad with a camera(but I have some other really exciting and useful skills!!!). Chuck, I do not have a name for my bike yet, it is looking to be a she in spirit though, I'll keep you posted!!

1) Not only did you PB but you blasted it. Take away the extra K you ran and I think that screams sub *** and that kicks ass.
2) breaking bush wasn't in my race plan, but i did it yelling "salmon coming through!!!" they didn't get it, bloody hell, that sucked, it was in the last couple of km.
HAAAA - Yeah they didn't get it at all. They had that stupid dazed look on their faces too hey??

Well done Tisha - like i said keep wearing bright colours so i have someone to chase (then do not take them off cause I loose ya)
